Delicious Vietnamese meal!

Jax and I went to a delicious Vietnamese restaurant! Jax had beef pho and I had a delicious egg and vegetable fried rice! We also had a tasty starter of fresh spring rolls with tofu inside! And a great free dessert of an orange. It was absolutely fantastic and very tasty!

Delicious Australia Day dinner in England! Made by Jax, this included a delicious salad, chicken, potato salad with spring onions and roasted vegetables. Also, a yummy pudding with custard! Really, really tasty!

Delicious food in Chinatown in London!

Jax and I went to Chinatown on my second day in England, celebrating both Chinese New Year and Australia Day. My noodle soup was rather delicious, and the waiter ended up chatting to me about how he had wanted to go to Australia and a lot of his friends study there. Then even though we were both totally full, we had delicious FISH CAKES (disclaimer: no fish involved). They were rather delicious, and also I had to take a picture of the Wife Cake because whilst we did not eat any, hello, how could I not take a picture of a cake called Wife Cake?!

These meals were eaten by Jax and I in Chinatown in Wagamamas. Jax had a noodle soup with meat and veggies, and I had noddles with onion and veggies. Absolutely delicious, we had dumplings too -- but Chinese dumplings, which I now know are most DEFINITELY different to Czech ones!  

Another Czech Burger

buchtičky se šodó

What is it and did I like it: It is buchtičky se šodó, and I did quite like it. I mean, it was actually hospital food so it wasn't exactly the best ever... but it was nice enough!

Polish Schnitzel!

What is it and did I like it: bread, cabbage and gherkins, goulash soup, potato salad with a MASSIVE schnitzel, apple juice and a complimentary Polish vodka (smoothest vodka I'd ever had)! Very tasty, definitely couldn't finish the whole meal though as it was HUGE! loved the schnittie!

Hotel Meal

What is it and did I like it: It is a tomato based soup and a chicken with veggies and rice dish. It was alright, but basically just tasted of salt as it was a bulk-made meal for our tour. Not horrible, but not the best tasting dish either.

Ratatouille!

Country: Austria
What is it and did I like it: It was a ratatouille and salad with apfelsaftschorle, found in a small alleyway whilst walking down one of the main streets of Vienna, MariaHilferStrasse. I sat there on my own, checking out a little sightseeing book on Vienna. The little street had kinda Indian and Turkish shops on it, and lots of cute little products (and great/interesting food like this!!) 

Rittersport chocolate!

Germany, rittersport chocolates at the rittersport museum! A German chocolate brand that has been around for 102 years, and an extremely delicious heavenly one at that! I bought several flavours !!! 

Bread with fetta and tomato and an amerikaner!

Germany, bröt with tomato cheese and herbs, and an amerikaner which is kinda like a soft biscuit with icing- yummy! 

Linsen and free beer AND apfelsaftschorle!

Germany, linsen (lentils) speciality of Swabia, and spätzle, also a speciality with frankfurters! I was super full at the point after a day of eating but I did quite like it! 

Mutschel!

Germany, it is a mutschel and it is only found it Reutlingen, very tasty indeed! 

Cake!

What is it: tasty cakes in a local Reutlingen bakery!

Did I like it: my cake (choc one) was quite rich but it was very nice, and Chris's mums cake (raspberry one) was very refreshing and tasty (she let me try a little bit of it!) 

Swabian foods!

What is it: three tasty German meals at a local Reutlingen restaurant! Mine included spätzle, the noodles, a Swabian speciality!! 

Did I like it: cheesy noodles ?! Of COURSE I liked it!! 

Maultaschen!

What is it: Maultaschen, kind of like pasta pockets with meat inside within a soup, a Swabian specialty

Did I like it: delicious, absolutely delicious!! 

Most amazing burger ever

What is it: probably THE most amazing burger you will ever eat, comparisons to the HIMYM episode where Marshall searches for his perfect burger were made...

Did I like it: well quite obviously yes, it was the most amazing burger I've ever tasted! They prepare it fresh right in front of us and it was just bloody amazing! 

Brekky at hostel!

What is it: my breakfast at the hotel complete with Nutella waffle! 

Did I like it: well I picked it-- delicious! 

Pizza!

What is it: mini pizza supposedly in the tourist area but it was only about €2! 

Did I like it: absolutely LOVED it - I ordered one, Richard tried it, Richard ordered one! 

Berliners and donut!

Did I like it: Berliners were amazing in Berlin! So soft with delicious jam and icing sugar! Richard agreed that Berlin ones are better! 

Currywurst!

What is it: currywurst! A very famous German specialty! 

Did I like it: would not eat it every day but it was tasty for sure 

Lunch in anděl!

What is it: a chicken Thai sauce tortilla for me with a salad and bramborák 

Did I like it: yes it was quite tasty! Very filling and great value for the price! 

Flammpizza!

What is it: this lovely dish was made by Richard and I and it is flammpizza, mixing flammkuchen and pizza! A great German Italian dish made by a Czech and an Aussie! 

Did I like it: well yes! I mean, we made it! 

Babička's pancakes!

Country: Czech Republic

What is it: pancakes made by Richards babička ! With strawberry jam in one and apricot jam in the others

Did I like it: extremely tasty! Was so appreciative of these yummy Czech pancakes!! 

Gingerbread Museum

What is it: gingerbread museum!

Did I like it: Richard and I bought some and we loved it!! So good! He sneakily nearly eat all of the one he "bought for me to try" :P
