Penne gamberi e gnocchi con pesto!

What are they: I ate an amazing prawn penne dish which had the most delicious sauce imaginable. This dish was an absolute delight to eat... I felt like I was in heaven the whole time! Richard had this scrummy little gnocchi basil pesto dish, which he enjoyed as well. A delicious meal in the little Italian town of La Spezia!

Una Biscotta Cioccolata!

What is it: Una Biscotta Cioccolata! An absolutely delicious chocolate biscuit, chocolate (or nutella I presume) filled in the centre, with a biscuity outside and icing sugar on the top - so simple, yet it tasted so amazing.

Italian Donut and Vanilla Milkshake

What is it: Well, this is pretty obvious, its a scrumptious chocolate donut and a vanilla milkshake. However, it was in a shop that was so frankie-esque that I thought I just had to include it! It was so Norwood (read: if you're from Adelaide you will get this), it so reminded me of the cafes I have been to with my grannie, Beccy, Mum, Aims and the two little cutesies! It had very cute interior decorating - a wonderful cafe in Pisa! 

Spaghetti al pomodoro con le olive

What is it: Spaghetti al pomodoro with black olives -- looks quite simple BUT it was extremely tasty. We got our meals from a restaurant that specialised in pasta, and it was filled with Italians - a very good sign that we weren't eating in a tourist trap! It wasn't too expensive, and it was definitely worth it!

What is it: Richard and I had breakfast at a little cafe in Firenze (Florence), and we thought it was quite cheap (for an extremely touristy area in Italy!). We each had a cannolo - an absolutely deliciously beautiful Italian pastry filled with the sweetest most delectable custard you can taste! And I had a fruit salad to top it off, with Richard eating a panino with his favourite - an espresso macchiato!

Delicious mozzarella di bufala and spaghetti al pomodoro!

What is it: A beautiful dish of mozzarella di bufala (buffalo mozzarella) with tomatoes - absolutely amazing to taste the softness of the cheese, a truly amazing appetizer. This was followed by my spaghetti al pomodoro, spaghetti with a tomato based sauce, so simple yet absolutely delicious- Italy just has such amazing food - and all of this was found at a small restaurant in Pisa! 

Strawberry Jelly Cake

What it is: A delicious strawberry flavoured jelly cake with real strawberries on top and coconut shavings on the outside - delicious!

Dinner with Paul and Steve, a tasty schnitzel with a really nice potato salad! And dessert that we all ordered- donut puffs filled with Apple and with apple sauce- very tasty!

Vegetarian Haggis!! Was quite tasty whilst being eaten! But did not sit fabulously afterward I have to admit !

I had a lovely little meal with my new friends Emma and Lachie, whom I met on tour in Scotland. They are Aussies too, and I had this fabulous cute meal at the awesome book-filled artsy apartment they were renting out for the week! Also tried IRN BRU, an orange drink more popular than coke in Scotland! Beautiful country ! 

Burger and Pie Sunday Meal at Bills

Jax and I were at Brighton and we were searching for a lunch when we found Bills- and our meals were DELICIOUS!! I had a burger and Jax had a chicken pie with mash- both super tasty!!

Delicious Brunch with Jax!

An amazing brunch (had at like, lunchtime, but was a breakfast food, so...) at Table, a really cool coffee-culture type cafe! Absolutely AMAZING fresh food from the markets, so tasty! I had veggie breakfast and Jax had sweet corn fritters!

This was an amazingly delicious meal made by Jax, BURGERS!! So tasty, we bought the ingredients from local Sainsburys and then Jax made these tasty burgers with cheese, meat, sauce, avocado, lettuce, tomato.... So so good!

Jax and I went to a delicious Vietnamese restaurant! Jax had beef pho and I had a delicious egg and vegetable fried rice! We also had a tasty starter of fresh spring rolls with tofu inside! And a great free dessert of an orange. It was absolutely fantastic and very tasty!

Delicious Australia Day dinner in England! Made by Jax, this included a delicious salad, chicken, potato salad with spring onions and roasted vegetables. Also, a yummy pudding with custard! Really, really tasty!

Delicious food in Chinatown in London!

Jax and I went to Chinatown on my second day in England, celebrating both Chinese New Year and Australia Day. My noodle soup was rather delicious, and the waiter ended up chatting to me about how he had wanted to go to Australia and a lot of his friends study there. Then even though we were both totally full, we had delicious FISH CAKES (disclaimer: no fish involved). They were rather delicious, and also I had to take a picture of the Wife Cake because whilst we did not eat any, hello, how could I not take a picture of a cake called Wife Cake?!

These meals were eaten by Jax and I in Chinatown in Wagamamas. Jax had a noodle soup with meat and veggies, and I had noddles with onion and veggies. Absolutely delicious, we had dumplings too -- but Chinese dumplings, which I now know are most DEFINITELY different to Czech ones!
